Working With Recipients
Adding, Selecting, or Deleting a Recipient
Adding a recipient:
To add a recipient (friend, family member, etc.), go to the App Bar Menu by tapping the … in the lower right of your screen and select add recipient from the menu that appears. Then enter a name (preferably short, but enough to discriminate them from the other recipients) and tapping the OK button.
Selecting a recipient:
To select a recipient, you can either swipe your finger to the left or right until the desired recipient's name is on the left in white text. Or, if the desired recipient's name is visible, you can simply tap it.
Deleting a recipient:
To delete a recipient, first select the recipient. Then, go to the App Bar Menu by tapping the … in the lower right of your screen, and select delete recipient from the menu that appears. When a recipient is deleted, all of that recipient's gifts are deleted as well.
Working With Gifts
Gift Information Fields
| Item | Required, a brief title for the gift. |
| Price | The estimated price of the gift. This field is optional, and you should not include the $, only the numeric value. |
| Store | Any known store(s) or locations at which this gift can be purchased. This field is optional, and is used when searching by store (see below). If you wish to enter multiple stores, separate them using a comma. You can also use the Entered Stores button to display a list of previously entered stores from which you can select. However, when entering multiple stores, only the first one can be entered using the Entered Stores button. |
| Buyer | This field can be used to keep track of who has already purchased or plans to purchase a certain gift for someone (or maybe whether or not you have gone to the store for it yet). It is an optional field, and can be used in any way that you feel is useful or convenient. |
| Notes | This is an optional field, and can be used to store any additional details about a gift, such as a URL where it should be purchased, a more detailed description to help you find it in the store, or anything else you need to remember about a gift. |
Adding, Editing, Deleting, or Copying a Gift
Adding a gift:
To add a gift, first select the recipient (if they are not already selected). Then, click the add gift button on the App Bar. On the gift information page, the only required field is Item, all other fields are optional. When entering the Price field, do not enter a $, just the numeric value. After entering any desired information, tap the Submit or Add More button to return to the main page or enter another gift.
Editing a gift:
To edit a gift, first tap the gift to view the details. Then, tap the "edit" button on the App Bar.
Deleting a gift:
To delete a gift, tap the delete button  to the right of the gift you wish to delete.
Copying a gift:
To copy a gift, first tap the gift to view the details. Then, tap the "copy" button on the App Bar. In the dialog box that appears, tap the textbox and select the recipient you wish to copy the gift to from the list that appears and tap the Copy Gift button.
Searching, Sorting, and Emailing Gifts
Searching by store:
To search for all gifts available at a specific store, go to the App Bar Menu by tapping the … in the lower right of your screen, and select search by store from the menu that appears. On the next screen, tap the textbox and select a store from the list that appears to display all items available at that store.
Sorting by price and/or item name:
To sort the displayed gifts, tap the price and/or item button on the App Bar to toggle whether the gifts should be sorted by that field. When the gifts are sorted by one of the fields, that button will be displayed with a white background.
Emailing all gift lists:
To send all gift lists as an email, go to the App Bar Menu by tapping the … in the lower right of your screen, and select email all gift lists from the menu that appears. In the dialog that appears, enter the email address to which you would like to send the gift list(s) and tap the OK button.
Emailing the current gift list:
To send the currently displayed user's gift list as an email, go to the App Bar Menu by tapping the … in the lower right of your screen, and select email this gift list from the menu that appears. In the dialog that appears, enter the email address to which you would like to send the gift list and tap the OK button.
