The time has now arrived, For me to tell you, if I may, That your friendship has meant more, Than my words could ever say! I now feel that I must give, To the friend you’ve come to be, All the good hopes and good wishes, That I have inside of me! And I want you to remember, Though you may be far away, You will remain a friend of mine, Right up to this very day!
