You have given me friendship, That I'm remembering still, It's a loss from which I try to recover, But that I fear I never will! It was the first time I had freedom, It was the first time I was known, It was the first time I found friendship, It was when my true self really shown! And I'd now like to thank all my friends, For showing me what a happy life needs, It must have others with which to share it, And there must be a true self which it's freed!
