CSSImageMapArea Control
Description
The CSSImageMapArea control is used with the CSSImageMap control to specify the information in each of the areas of an imagemap
Properties & Methods
CSSImageMapAreaThe CSSImageMapArea contains data about an area that will be used in a CSSImageMap
  • Width - The width of the area
  • Height - The height of the area
  • XPosition - The horizontal position of the area within the imagemap relative to the left of the imagemap
  • YPosition - The vertical position of the area within the imagemap relative to the top of the imagemap
  • HRef - If set, this is the Url that you will be sent to after clicking the area
  • Target - When using the HRef property, this specifies whether the browser will use the same or another window
  • ClientMouseOver - If set, used to specify JavaScript that will be used in the area's onmouseover event
  • ClientMouseOut - If set, used to specify JavaScript that will be used in the area's onmouseout event
  • ClientClick - If set, used to specify JavaScript that will be used in the area's onclick event
  • ServerClick - If set, used to specify the name of a function defined in the page that will be executed when the area is clicked. Note that the function may not have any parameters and must be defined in the page, for more complex operations, call another function using this function

Remarks
When using the ClientMouseOver, ClientMouseOut, and ClientClick properties please be careful when using id's, since ASP.NET generates the client id's for most controls. Also, when specifying a function in ServerClick, be sure it is specified in the page that uses the CSSImageMap and do not include the parentheses.
